Sirena Davila got her start in the environmental field providing technical evaluations for a private environmental consulting company in Puerto Rico. Sirena holds a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology Technology and, with nearly two decades of environmental experience in the public and private sectors, she has served in a variety of environmental compliance and enforcement roles over the last 16 years with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Sirena previously served as Assistant Director in DEP’s Southeast District (SED) and was recently appointed as SED Director. In her spare time, Sirena enjoys interior design, traveling, and spending time with her family.
