Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is responsible for financial planning and oversight of the Council’s finances, accounting, billing, and collections. The Finance Manager is responsible for accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, audits, grants, internal controls, and financial oversight of Council programs and Revolving Loan Funds. The Finance Manager supervises the Finance / BI Analyst, advises the Executive Director and Board, approves financial dashboards and management reporting, and makes presentations on the Council’s finances. Routine Power BI development is assigned to the Finance / BI Analyst with oversight from the Finance Manager.

Finance / BI Analyst

The Finance / BI Assistant is responsible for processing payroll, accounts receivable (AR) / accounts payable (AP), and supports the Council’s budgeting, audit, grant, project, procurement, and Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) reporting functions while serving as the primary developer and administrator of Power BI financial dashboards. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance / BI Analyst maintains reliable accounting records, independently analyzes and validates financial data, resolves reporting issues, and ensures that dashboards reconcile to approved financial information.

Senior Planner

As a Senior with the South Florida Regional Planning Council, you will be at the forefront of critical urban and regional planning issues and solving complex challenges that will define South Florida’s growth for years to come. The preferred candidate will have significant experience in urban planning specialization such as economic development or urban data analysis. 2 years for a Master’s Degree or 6 years for a Bachelor’s at the Senior Level.

Regional Planner

This is an entry-level position requiring advanced professional work in a wide range of planning activities, mostly focused on economic development. The preferred candidate will have significant experience in an urban planning specialization, such as economic development or urban data analysis. This position will also play a lead role in the development of state and federal funding proposals to support staff and consultant work.
