Miami’s 79th Street Corridor is surrounded by several hotspots including downtown, Miami International Airport and Miami Beach. Despite its close proximity to these places and access to public transportation, there is not much there to attract people passing through. The Neighborhood Housing Services of South Florida (NHSSF) is working to create a vibrant corridor where locals can get the services and goods they need, and travelers passing through can stop and enjoy their stay.
Through Partners in Progress, NHSSF is partnering with different organizations to bring affordable housing, stores, hotels and other services to the 79th Street Corridor.
