The South Florida and Treasure Coast Regional Planning Councils, represented by elected and appointed officials from Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties, in Joint Session identified the following regional issue priorities. We ask that you please incorporate these priorities into your state and federal action agendas:
Urge the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to work collaboratively to develop and implement as soon as possible a long-term coral reef conservation strategy for the Southeast Florida Coral Reef Ecosystem Conservation Area.
The SFRPC website is undergoing modifications to provide enhanced access to documents for disabled individuals and to comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to make reasonable accommodations. If you need assistance accessing Council documents while these modifications are being made, please contact the SFRPC Director of Administration, at sfadmin@sfrpc.com or 954-924-3653 for assistance. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we implement these changes.
