Join the Conversation: Department of Environmental Protection to Host Public Meetings on Kristin Jacobs Coral Aquatic Preserve Draft Plan
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Coral Reef Conservation Program will host a series of virtual and in-person public meetings on January 20, 21, and 28 to introduce the Kristin Jacobs Coral Aquatic Preserve (KJCAP) draft management plan and gather public input.
These meetings will provide historical context on the formation of the Kristin Jacobs Coral Aquatic Preserve and create space for discussion between members of the public and KJCAP staff. In-person sessions will be structured as an open house, with stations organized around the draft management plan’s key thematic issue areas so attendees can engage with the topics most relevant to their interests.
