Armando Luis Vilaboy has worked at the South Florida Water Management District for 12 years as the Regional Representative Lead for Miami Dade and Monroe counties. Mr. Vilaboy manages the District’s Regional Representatives in Broward, Miami Dade and Monroe counties in furtherance of the District’s mission to work collaboratively with local governments, local elected officials, businesses and other interests in support of the District’s flood control, and environmental restoration initiatives. He also serves on the Miami Dade County Local Mitigation Strategies Steering Committee and the Water Quality Protection Program (WQPP) Steering Committee. Before joining the District in 2010, he served as the Special Project Coordinator for the City of Miami Mayor’s Office and in the Governor’s Office of External Affairs.
