Free Alternative Fuels Training for First Responders

The South Florida Regional Planning Council, Southeast Florida Clean Cities Coalition, and Florida Transportation Systems, Inc., in partnership with the Local Emergency Planning Committee, and the Fire Chiefs Association of Broward County, is pleased to offer a FREE 8-hour training course for first responders on alternative fuels.

This comprehensive training, led by industry leader AFV Educate, will cover:

  • Compressed Natural Gas (CNG): Properties, safety considerations, and emergency response procedures.
  • Propane (LPG): Understanding the fuel, potential hazards, and safe response measures.
  • Electric Fueling: Familiarization with electric vehicles, their unique challenges, and emergency response protocols.

This training is essential for first responders who want to stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving transportation landscape.
