FDOT D4’s Planning Manager for the Planning & Environmental Management Office (PLEMO)

Victoria Peters is excited in her new role as FDOT D4’s Planning Manager for the Planning & Environmental Management Office (PLEMO) Victoria has over 22 years in the transportation industry with over 19 years at FDOT in both Operations and Planning. During that time, she held several positions in both the Operations and Development Divisions and also served as the MPO Liaison Supervisor prior to her current position as Planning Manager. She has been closely involved in local community planning and safety outreach events in Immokalee and Lee County for 19 years. Victoria’s passionate about working with the public, local agencies and government officials to help their communities reach their goals and fulfilling their needs. Victoria holds a bachelor’s degree in government from Clark University as well as a Juris Doctor degree (law degree) from Western Michigan University. Victoria I also a strong believer of life-long learning.

Victoria is originally from North Haven, Connecticut and spent most of her adult life in Massachusetts. She has been regularly visiting FL since she was 8 years old and moved to Southwest Florida (South Myers) full time over 20 years ago. She most recently moved to Pompano Beach and works at the FDOT District Four HQ Building in Ft Lauderdale.

On a personal note, Victoria is an avid animal advocate and just completed an 18-year feral cat Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) program with multiple adoptions in her local community in South Fort Myers. In her free time, Victoria enjoys gardening, reading, spending time with friends and hiking outdoors when it’s not too hot.
