President Obama visits the Everglades on Earth Day

President Obama and Secretary Jewell visited Everglades National Park on Earth Day, highlighting the threat of climate change to our environment and our economy. Last year visitor spending at national parks translated into nearly $30 billion in economic impact. A successful conservation partnership is keeping the Bi-State Sage-Grouse off the endangered species list, and Interior announced $3 million in grants to develop parks and outdoor recreation facilities in eight cities across the country.
