Florida Energy Summit for site

 

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will co-host the statewide 2017 Florida Energy Summit with the Broward Workshop.

This year the summit will be held October 18-20, 2017, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and will highlight how the State and South Florida are preparing for the future through energy innovation.

The summit brings together the brightest minds from academic institutions and private industries, as well as public officials on the local, state and federal levels, to discuss the future of energy in Florida.

This year’s summit will examine potential challenges and look to the future to identify innovative solutions to secure a stable, reliable, and diverse supply of energy.

The summit agenda features panel discussions on innovation in the energy sector. From new advances in energy technology to transportation to renewable energy investments within the state, summit attendees will learn about innovation in Florida’s energy sector.

The Broward Workshop is a private, non-profit, non-partisan business organization established in 1981 consisting of the chief decision makers representing 100 of Broward County’s major businesses and professions. Through the Workshop, business leaders seek to facilitate positive solutions
