Operation HeatShield2, a major regional fullscale exercise, took place this Saturday, April 28, 2018 across ten venues in Palm Beach County.  Council staff worked with personnel from multiple Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and regional agencies to plan the event.  The training included active shooter scenarios, as well as mass casualty, crowd control and forensics.  Well

President Obama and Secretary Jewell visited Everglades National Park on Earth Day, highlighting the threat of climate change to our environment and our economy. Last year visitor spending at national parks translated into nearly $30 billion in economic impact.
